How fast will my product ship?

If products are in stock they ship within 2-3 business days.

How fast will my product ship if it is on backorder?

Backordered products will be scheduled to ship in 14 business days.

What service will my product ship from?

BOSS products are shipped through USPS, standard shipping. 

What warranty does the product come with?

Products come with a 1 year warranty as long as there is no signs of miss use. The product must be shipped back before your replacement is shipped to you.

Can my tray be traded in for another tray under warranty?

No trays cannot be exchanged for another under warranty.

Will replacement parts be available?

Yes, strap and buckle assemblies can be purchased separately.

Are the battery trays specific to only one battery brand and model?

In most case yes, since BOSS battery trays are a perfect fit. Some battery models are dimensionally the same and the tray can be used for more than one battery model.

Can the battery strap go in either direction, left to right or front to back?

Yes. Only in some cases do the features of the battery interfere with the strap.

What do the letters X and Y mean in the description of the tray?

X and Y describes the direction in which the battery will face when placed in the tray. X means the front of the battery would be facing you or facing away from you and Y means the battery would be facing to the left or right.

What screws should I use to install my battery tray?

Use flat top countersink #10 stainless steel screws. Drill 1/8 pilot hole, clean area and apply 5200 before installing screws.

How do I ensure my strap is tight?

After placing your battery in, pre-adjust your strap to have a slight amount of tension as you squeeze the buckles together. Make sure both tangles of buckle snap in completely.

Should I install my strap before installing the tray?

Yes. It is still possible to route the strap after but not recommended.

How do I install the strap?

Select the direction in which you want the strap, Insert from the top through the guide slots under the tray along the strap channel and up through the opposing guide slot. Now you’re ready to install the tray and add the buckles.

Returns / Exchanges / Refunds

In the unfortunate event that we've sent you the wrong item, please contact us within 24 hours of received your order so we can correct your order. You will be provided with a PrePaid Return Shipping Label. Once we can track that your item is in transit back to us we will send your correct order out.

If you wish to return your tray, please contact us within 14 days of your delivery. We will issue you a RMA for your return.

Discretionary returns are at customer's expense. We suggest that you send your return with Signature Confirmation to ensure receipt of your return. We cannot be responsible for items returned without tracking information. 

Please allow up to 10 days for your return to be processed/refunded and to appear on your bank statement.
